You’re watching a show made by a feminist, with feminist ideals, to show little girls that there is more than one way to BE a girl. (An idea of feminism!) Why not just admit that feminism isn’t as bad as you thought it was? (2/20/12) Here I thought I was just watching a cute, surprisingly clever little cartoon that taught kids about friendship and why shapeshifters can go suck it, BUT NO! I’m watching a show about FEMINIST IDEALS! Feminist ideals like…appreciate gifts from friends…and…reading is fun, and, uh…Applejack was right all along?
