So, I just heard about this controversy about this “rape joke” Daniel Tosh told. Some lady went “Rape’s never funny!”, Tosh went “Wouldn’t it be funny if she got raped by five guys?”…
And that’s where every article I’ve read ends. Where’s the part where he gets to the joke? Did he go on to say something wacky that made saying someone should get gangraped funny? Was this part of the act, leading up to him gangraped in some amusing manner?
Taken out of context like this, Tosh sounds like an unfunnny piece of shit who aims for the lowest, cheapest, laziest shock laughs after spending too much time on Enyclopedia Dramatica.
Which we all know isn’t true.
